CMTMarketOption.com Review

CMT Market Option claims to be a “unique broker using their own custom built trading platform for binary options, forex, crypto currencies and cfd’s [sic] on stocks and most recently have included in the mining of bitcoin.”

CMT Market Option claims to use their own custom built trading platform with over 30,000 thousands active users and over 50,000 payouts. (Strange since the domain cmtmarketoption.com was registered on November 12, 2018, that is, less than a year ago.)

Not only is this an OTC brokerage though, they also claim to mine Bitcoin directly to their clients’ wallets.

We never heard of this obscure site until we received the following comment:

Please review CMTMarketOption located in San Francisco.

Indeed, the address of CMTMarketOption is “Rock Street, San Francisco.”

Well, right away we can tell you that CMTMarketOption is NOT located in San Francisco. How do we know that? Simple. First, there’s no “Rock Street” in San Francisco.

Second, binary options are illegal in the United States, unless traded on a registered exchange such as Nadex. So if CMTMarketOption was offering binary options in the US, they would already had been shut by the government.

Now, the issue of binary options is quite a serious one since this trading tool has been banned not only in the US, but also in Europe and Israel among other countries. So a company that is offering binary options trading is very likely to turn out to be a scam.

But let’s take a look at the evidence as it is presented on CMTMarketOption.com.

Contact Information

Email: cmtmarketoption1@gmail.com (seriously? a gmail address for a large trading company?)

Phone number: 1 (244) 567-891 (not an SF number; as far as we can tell, this is an unassigned area code in the US.)

On the Contact Us page, there is a contact form as well as another email address: info@tdfmarketoption.com.

…wait, TDFMarketOption.com? Is this just another error?

Nope. TDFMarketOption.com is a real site and it was made by the same people who make CMTMarketOption.com judging by the design. But more about TDFMarketOption.com in its own review

Other Considerations

Testimonials are presented which seem to be fake. At least the photos presented near them are definitely fake as the below image clearly shows:

CMTMarketOption.com vs Google Images

Not a lot of information is available on the site. Even important details such as deposit methods, minimums, and maximums is missing as far as we can ascertain. No terms of use or a privacy policy.

Which leads us to the inevitable conclusion:

Conclusion: Is CMTMarketOption.com a SCAM?

If we ignore that binary options trading in itself is illegitimate, we don’t know for sure whether this specific brokerage is a scam since we haven’t received any reports from people who have been scammed by CMT Market Option. (Make sure to let us know by commenting below if you have been defrauded by them.)

Still, the review of this site leads us to a strong disrecommendation.

Avoid trifling with CMTMarketOption and other binary options brokers!
