BitPetite.com Review – Obvious HYIP at a Closer Look

Bitpetite is one of those HYIP schemes which attempt to lull their first-time visitors into thinking they’re something entirely different. Bitpetite poses as a bitcoin mixing/tumbling service, and as such, it appears to be entirely legitimate at first glance. At a closer look though, its true nature is revealed, as we learn that the tumbler angle is little more than the usual “cover-story” for the HYIP scheme within.

What is Bitpetite.com?

Bitpetite is a HYIP/Ponzi scheme offering a daily return of close to 4% on individual bitcoin investments, which alleges that it makes its money/profits through a coin mixing operation that it is running. Some of the similar schemes we have recently reviewed have used nuclear energy investments, forex trading and even laser technology sales as an explanation serving the same purpose. Here, we have Bitcoin-mixing. According to some, there is in fact no Bitcoin mixing going on at the site at all…

What exactly is Bitcoin mixing/tumbling?

Since the financial activities of Bitcoin users can be tracked back handily through the blockchain, to enhance anonymity, some resort to services which take their bitcoins, obfuscate their origins by mixing them into a larger pool, and then hand them an equal amount (minus a commission) of “clean” BTCs back. Indeed, some are willing to pay the commissions associated with this service, so legitimate Bitcoin mixing services are indeed very profitable. They are far from the 4% daily profit mark promised by Bitpetite though, even so.

Can I Trust Bitpetite.com?

Probably no more than you would trust a sleazy used car salesman, which is to say that you obviously shouldn’t. Even if some people did get paid by the operation, it is an obvious pyramid scheme and it will ride off with its victims’ monies sooner or later.

Promises and Features

Bitpetite claims that in order to be able to run its coin mixing service seamlessly, it needs “dynamic funding,” as in money from investors. The investment plan is really simple: those willing to sink their money into this scam, can use a calculator available directly on the investment page, to learn exactly how much they will be able to earn over 6 weeks and 9 weeks – the two featured investment periods. The numbers are obviously attractive, so much so that they are indeed too good to be true. Several crypto currencies are accepted for investment purposes: BTC, LTC as well as ETH.

The calculator displays the daily net income in USD, as well as the weekly, monthly and total net incomes, using a 4.5% daily interest rate. The break-even point on the investment is set to about a month from the start.

Question Marks and Red Flags

For a well-versed cryptocurrency user endowed with common sense, everything discussed above is a massive red flag.

The About Us section of the Bitpetite website does not offer much in the way of useful background information on the operation. It does link to a Certificate of Registration though, which is in line with what we have seen at most of the other similar scammers. Bitpetite Ltd. has apparently been incorporated in February, 2017. As far as contacts go, we are given a Skype and an Instagram ID.

The web domain bitpetite.com was registered in 2016 and the identity of its registrant is privacy-protected, as obviously no one is looking to have his/her name directly associated with this scam.

BitPetite is available on the Dark Web with the following address: petite3b4qmoqbpl.onion.

The support email is support@bitpetite.com.

BitPetite Complaints

The bitcointalk forums living testimony to this, most people have recognized Bitpetite for what it truly is: a textbook Ponzi scheme.

Popularity

When this review was posted on September 28, 2017, BitPetite’s global Alexa rank was 13,795, indicating it’s a very popular website. Much of its traffic seems to come from countries such as the United States, Brazil, United Kingdom, Venezuela, Russia, India, Spain as well as other countries.

According to SimilarWeb, more than 60% of the people who reach the site are referred via sites, such as mellowads.com and adbtc.top. They also seem to be running a small social media campaign, specifically on YouTube and Facebook.

BitPetite Review Conclusion

Do not invest any money, virtual or fiat, with Bitpetite.

  1. why would you be down for 2 days if you made all that money for investments in 100 days? I can see down for a few hours even 1 full day. 2 days is not acceptable. I lost about $300….Scam!

  2. The back end server is down for a couple of days and there are a lot of rumors going around about
    Bitpetite shutting down.
Just a couple of hard drives at my work took about 2 days to rebuild on a RAID system so I’m thinking they are having some issues re building the new server system.

Bitepetite made some interesting points on Twitter eg: “Why would we shut down now when we had 100% growth in the last 7 days?”
“Why would we pay out more than $1 million in Ethereum over the weekend?”
“The same thing happened when we added Monero.”

I’m getting hourly payments, so does everyone.
I have more than $100 invested in litecoin so that gives me just enough ROI to
withdraw the minimum payment of .1 Litecoin or around US $5.00 Daily.
Actually, 1 Litecoin deposited gives 4.5% return daily on the 6 week contract.
    I invested 2 Litecoins, that gives me 2 x .045 Litecoin = .09 Litecoin daily return.
The minimum withdraw amount for Litecoin is, .1 Litecoin .
Therefore, I have to wait a little longer than 24 hours for my withdraw.
    I think 26 hours.
The website makes all of this profoundly clear, yet, when they say “interest” 4.5% daily…
That is actually interest plus principal. So, you get paid 4.5% daily.
Overall the interest payments are 47% over six weeks + principal of !00% = 147%
    payment over six weeks.
There is also only 1% paid on weekends which they make perfectly clear as well.
This is still a bit better than the bank will give you, and the banks money is depreciating faster than the ROI. ( Return on Investment ) and.. they don’t have Litecoins.
The good thing about the investment in Bitpetite is that your Coins are not Tied up for say… 299 days on Bitconnect on the minimum investment.
Also, you can withdraw a portion (Around 3.88%) of your Principal daily provided you meet the minimums for withdraw.
So the real interest payment is 1.11905 % daily (Rounded) or 408.45% anually (Rounded)
compounded every six weeks should you choose to reinvest in the next term.
You may also start a new contract any time to compound more frequently.
I highly recommend this…If you want to invest with big returns…

  3. Their site has been down for two days now. I think I have just been scammed. This is it guys. Wish I listened to my instincts to stay away

  4. I invested $40 and got everything back as promised, but now their website has been basically non functional for the last three days. People are saying they are communicating on their Facebook and Twitter page. I don’t care, I was lucky enough to get my promised return but feel very sorry for those who have invested thousands or more, only to have them disappear into the dark web.

  5. It would help your review if you actually had a clue what you were talking about.

    144% after 6 weeks (6 x 7 days = 42 days) – So you receive your principle plus 44%. 44% divided by 42 days is 1.04% per day not 4.5%

    1. It would really help if you put your glasses on, or had an eye doctor examine you.
4.5% was the DAILY return their site stated.

Even now it says: “Invest and earn 3.60% and above, daily”

Furthermore: even if it was 1.04% daily, that would still make ~31.2% per month. Still unrealistic, and still a major HYIP red flag.

      1. i will say on few words, its not a scam

I have earned 1000$ in just 6 weeks from them. so they are doing well, never saw a single post anywhere so far where people said they lost money with bitpepptie.

    2. With one plan, after 42 days you get back 100% of your deposit and 147% interest, not 44%, otherwise there won’t be a break-even point after about 4 weeks. 147% in 6 weeks is 24.5% weekly; 5 times 4.5% (=22.5%) on working days and 2 times 1% (=2%) for the weekend. If you reinvest daily, you could get over 200% interest. That much for the math. But they don’t look like they keep their word. Currently, it looks like you don’t get your deposit back and no more interest.

  6. Hi Guys,

    My personal experience on Bitpetite:

    4 weeks term
    Ivested 5 LTC – 302 $
    I am actualliy learning 13.59$ \ Day
at the end i will lerarn 443 $

    Deposit:
just make sure to send the exact amount to the exact address generate for you

    Withdraw:
    Works great.

I really don’t know the life of that kind of investments and the website itself, but the participants increasing a lot everyday ,so, more investors \ more money \ more life that’s it.
I thinks it is now the moment to try that,( due uncertain long life) and get back some profit quickly

    Check it out

    bitpetite.com

    have a good one

  7. I have been in Bitpetite for almost 2 months. They just added Monero this week to their other cryptos. ( Litecoin, Bitcoin and Ethereum) Smooth transition. They are paying hourly. I have taken out my original investment of $350 and have been paid an additional $2350!! If this is a scam its the best scam I have ever seen. Here is my link if you are interested in joining bitpetite.com/?aff= Here is proof of payment in this short video youtu.be/Y7MTJ-LwniY .

I also like Chain.group. They are an escrow company that has stabilization funds that pay you out if the fund folds. Some of the funds have been around for over 300 days. Here is my my link if you want to check it out chain.group and a short video on how it works youtu.be/HRJdhtK1ZiA .

  8. I don’t know why people are foolish enough to post here if they invested with bitpetite … don’t they know they can get tracked? And at the end of the day be involved in some crime???! What idiots.
