BTC Changex (Btcchangex.com) is an online crypto exchange which has got a lot of popularity through social media. The exact amount of fees charged by them is not stated anywhere on their platform and their support team isn’t exactly one of the best ways to deal with your problems.

They claim to be a regulated exchange, but there isn’t anything solid to back up their statements. If you have a look at the testimonials about them, then you won’t find anything apart from angry comments from the innocent victims. You might have found them appealing due to their aggressive marketing or fancy claims.

Platform, Fees and Process

The interface of this exchange is very basic and easy to navigate. Users can exchange the funds from BTC to ETH or from BTC to Payeer wallet. Note that, any other combination is not allowed on the platform which might be a deal breaker for some of the customers.

The minimum exchange amount is 0.005 BTC, there is no information about the maximum transaction amount and the average processing time is said to be around 5 minutes. They state that, if you do not get the specified amount within the said time period, then you might get the transaction reverted back to your account within 24 hours.

However, do note that they do not carry any responsibility if your money is not credited back to your account. In short, their rules are very odd and the entire process is confusing to say the least.

This is a scam

This is a scam, they have a YouTube video title (“Crypto Arbitrage – Earn $150 $300 BTC each day trading”) saying to change BTC to ETH but you get nothing back. I lost €40 to these people, minimum transfer is 0.05 BTC and 13k people have viewed the video so if half have tried it they have scammed €240,000+ . this site need to be taken down, the support emails are fake and go nowhere. These people are complete scum, i lost only €40 but others possibly more.

Since, this exchange hasn’t mentioned any model on their website, we do not have the slightest clue about whether it is worth the promoter’s time to indulge with it. Btcchangex.com is not the best rated exchange out there. The rates they offer is at par with the others and their interface is really one of the most simple ones. However, given the amount of red flags found on their platform along with the negative testimonials out there, it might not be worth the hassle to deal with them.
